Well - the summary is easy. Nothing to write home about (excuse the pun) and no photos apart from the ones taken by my copilot whilst driving along.

We arrived in Lyon through traffic jams and erratic fellow drivers. We drove to our proposed stop which was recommended on Park4Night app... it was on street parking next to the river and the busiest road in Lyon. We quickly moved on and discounted two further stops having negotiated some seriously tight streets. Feeling that we were losing the light (and the will to live) we decided on a site 3km outside the city and escaped as quickly as possible. THis was somewhat hampered by poor signage on the roads, but we eventually turned up to a typically warm welcome, nice facilities and a quiet pitch for the night.

Enough said... not a difficult decision to leave first thing in the morning to find somewhere smaller, prettier and quieter!
