We arrived in Mandal late in the afternoon and had already found a site that sounded great, according to the reviews. However, how many times do the reviews line up with the place? Thankfully, on this occasion, the reviews were spot on as the site was quaint, good clean facilities and what a view!

We enjoyed our position by the river and spent time catching up on our reading while planning the next stage of our journey. We also managed to find a much needed plumbers merchant to fix the leak that had developed in the preceding couple of days in our new van.

The following morning the clouds had descended and the rain was gently falling. A good day to travel.
