Reisdorf, Luxembourg

Following on from our freebie site in Bailleul, France, we headed on to Luxembourg searching out a new campsite offering opportunities to get out on foot and the bikes.

When we arrived at the site that we had identified, we realised that we recognised the area from a visit in August 2017 when we were with the family following on from attending the Spa Formula 1 Grand Prix. Instead of gambling on an unknown site, we elected to stay on the same site again.

Camping sur la Sure, Reisdorf, Luxembour

The riverside location, the standard of the facilities and the quality of the food and drinks meant that this was a great decision. We do not normally go for somewhere we have been before, but we allowed ourselves this exception. The other asset to this site has to be the people. They are warm, friendly, and multi-lingual.

There are many opportunities for walking and cycling.

Many of the views are stunning subjects to be photographed. I could have spent hours, days even, taking the shots of the stunning rock formations that lead away from Dillingen towards Beaufort.
