Southwold, UK

During our visit to Norfolk, many people recommended to go to Southwold, so on our return leg we decided to have a night staying in a campsite near the sea.

It did not dissapoint.

Southwold, in the early spring, is a lovely tranquil and pretty seaside village that was very relaxed and friendly. We walked and cycled in and around th village and amongst the fishing vessels as well as investigating the narrow streets, pretty deserted sandy beaches and cycle ways. We would have liked to spemd more time here as there looked to be so much more to be explored, but the weather had definitely turned against us and the cold North-Easterly wind came in across the sea and the tempature dropped significantly, blowing in wintery rain and sleet.
